How much do I need to spend to get a carriage paid order?

  • We regret that we do not offer cash & carry facilities, however the showroom is open by appointment for you to place an order.

How do I open a credit account?

Is my new account open?

  • You will automatically receive an email with your account details once the account has been opened.

How soon can I receive my order?

  • Delivery times vary according to season. Whilst we endeavour to dispatch orders as quickly as possible delays may occur at busy times. It is not always possible to guarantee stock of all items at once. Some items may be new and yet to arrive from the Far East or alternatively may be temporarily out of stock.

Will I be charged carriage on my back order?

  • You will not be charged carriage on your backorder as long as it reaches our minimum of £100. However balances falling below this value will only be dispatched if added to and reaching a total value of £100 ( £300 for areas outside England and Lowland Scotland).

Why am I being charged carriage on clearance stock?

These items have been discounted to well below cost price. We therefore sell these on an ex warehouse basis. Carriage is charged at the cost to us and kept to the lowest possible charge.

How do I change my account details/delivery address?

How can I book in my order for a specific date?

  • You can select a delivery date from the final checkout page.

How can I view the delivery dates of my order?

  • Please go into my account and select order history. The Estimated dates of arrival are shown. Please allow appx 10-14 days from this date for goods to arrive in our warehouse.

Can I buy smaller quantities?

  • Our pack sizes are shown against each item. By pressing the ( - ) key you will be able to reduce these quantities to half packs, which is the minimum quantity (Special offers minimum quantity is one full pack size) Pressing the ( + ) key (for the first time) takes you immediately to our case rate which will entitle you to a 10% discount against that product.

I have received faulty goods / short or non-delivery, how do I claim?

  • All claims for damages and shortages must be reported by email to claims@richardlang.co.uk or by fax 01332 299115 or in writing within 3 days of receipt of the goods. No claims can be accepted after this time unless by prior arrangement. Non delivery of the goods must be reported in writing within 7 days of the date of our invoice. In the case of a short delivery the number of cartons received must be advised. No goods may be returned without prior consent in writing.

How do I return faulty goods?

  • No goods may be returned without prior written consent. We will arrange uplift for goods that we have agreed to accept for return. Where goods are being returned as no longer required, without a written cancellation, return carriage at cost charges will be added.

I want to pay my bill / I have a query on my accout

  • Invoices are payable in £ Sterling either by cheque, credit or debit card. Customers with credit accounts are requested to settle their accounts within 30 days unless special terms have been agreed by the parties.
